The NAMI Jacksonville Board of Directors is a "working board." Each member is actively involved in different aspects of mental health in our community, and with NAMI Jax programs. In addition to giving their time, each member contributes financially to NAMI Jax to help ensure the success of the organization.

Since 2012, Michelle Pargman has served as the New Directions EAP & Wellness Clinician, dedicated to Florida Blue employees and their household members.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Michelle recognizes that mental health support and treatment is not one-size-fits-all, and that there are many different pathways and entry points to assist each individual's personal journey. Michelle is an active member of her community, and actively amplifies NAMI's programs in professional and personal settings as an important support option that can change lives for the better and help people recognize that they are not alone, and there is hope.
She received her Masters and Specialists degrees in Counselor Education from the University of Florida.

Tammy Lynn Daniel - DNP, MA, RN, NEA-BC, is Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, and serves on the Executive team, at Baptist Health System. She has worked at Baptist Health System for 17 years, and has spent 37 total years in hospital leadership roles, hospital administration, nursing and patient care.
She serves in leadership roles and as a volunteer for numerous community organizations, and is a graduate of Leadership Jacksonville.
Tammy graduated from Marycrest College with a BS in Nursing, and earned her Master of Health Services Management degree from Webster University, and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Rush University.

Peter Serio is Chief Customer Officer at GuideWell, where he is responsible for the customer experience team, execution of the customer experience transformation program, and setting the strategic vision, direction, and standards for GuideWell and Florida Blue's customer experience. His background includes product management, competitive strategy, sales and marketing management, and customer experience.
Peter is a Certified Public Accountant, and was an adjunct professor at the University of North Florida from 2019-2021. In 2018, he was recognized by the Jacksonville Business Journal as one of First Coast’s 40 Under 40 creating the future in Northeast Florida. He has also served on the JAX Chamber’s Board of Governors.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington University, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Evelyn Woodward is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Certified Employee Assistance Professional, and a Masters Certified Addiction Professional.
Currently, Evelyn serves on the Employee Assistance Certification Commission, while employed at Lucet as a Clinical Supervisor. She has practiced behavioral health for 40 years, working with diverse populations in various settings.
A native New Yorker, Evelyn received a BA in Sociology/Social Work from Skidmore College, and an MS in Social Work from Columbia University.

Camp Davis is a Certified Financial Planner, and currently is Vice President of Investments with Raymond James.
A Jacksonville native, Camp is a dedicated supporter of his community, serving on the boards of the 200 Club of Jacksonville and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He also supports numerous causes, including Family First, The City Rescue Mission, Downtown Ecumenical Services, and Feeding America.
Camp earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Charleston.
In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, hunting and golf.

Tad Delegal has practiced law in Jacksonville for 33 years and is the only Florida Bar certified attorney in both Labor & Employment Law, and Administrative Law. He has served on, and chaired, the two Florida Bar committees for each of his certifications as well as a Bar grievance committee. Tad is a former President of the Jacksonville Bar Association, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
He received the “Twelve Who Care” award for pro bono service to children with disabilities, Jacksonville Legal Aid’s Kathy Para award for pro bono service, and Jacksonville ABOTA’s Professionalism and Civility Award. Tad has served as Board Chair for the Jericho School for Autism and Related Disabilities, President of the San Marco Rotary Club, and Senior Warden for All Saints Episcopal Church.

Dr. Michaela Denison is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Florida College of Medicine–Jacksonville (UFCOM-J). She is board certified in both General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Denison serves as the Medical Director at the UF Psychiatry–San Jose outpatient clinic, where she provides clinical care to children and adolescents. She is actively involved in medical education, supervising general psychiatry residents, child and adolescent psychiatry fellows, pediatric residents, and medical students.
Since 2021, Dr. Denison has served as Director of the Collaborative Care Consultation Clinic, where she trains community pediatricians on evidence-based approaches to identifying and managing pediatric mental health conditions. She also founded UF Health’s CDC-funded Lock Bag Program, which distributed 4,000 medication lock bags to families across Duval County to reduce the risk of youth overdose.
Dr. Denison completed her psychiatry residency and child psychiatry fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine–Jacksonville, where she was recognized with the Rosilie O. Saffos Award for Outstanding Resident Teacher of the Year, and the Fellow of the Year Award. She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine.

Following an early career as an ordained United Methodist minister in the Florida Annual Conference, Kim transitioned into public education, most recently with the Nassau County School District. She has served as a Project Manager in the Office of Intervention and Prevention, and as the Homeless Liaison for the federally-mandated McKinney-Vento initiative. She coordinated the district’s Safe and Drug Free School activities to target middle and high school students, and implemented chronic disease prevention and reduction strategies for Nassau County’s workforce of 1,400. Honors include recognitions as a Jax Healthiest Company, AHA Fit-Friendly Workplace, and gold-level Florida Healthy School District.
In the public health sector, Kim chaired the Nassau County Health Improvement Coalition (NCHIC) and participated in the CHIP (Community Health Improvement Plan) with the Florida Department of Health in Nassau County.
Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Divinity from Emory University. She is a local native, born in Fernandina Beach, now living in historic Kings Ferry in Hilliard.

Bryan Mingle is a recognized statewide recovery peer support champion. He currently is a Recovery Support Team Leader at Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare in Nassau County. As a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist and workforce trainer since 2016, Bryan has trained more than 100 individuals who joined the Florida peer specialist workforce. He holds a National Certified Peer Specialist (NCPS) credential, and is a Certified Addiction Counselor.
In 1981, Bryan earned a Journalism and Communications Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. His newspaper career included Gannett’s Florida Today and USA Today, and 10 years at the Los Angeles Times.
Bryan’s healing from chemical dependence and an anxiety disorder began after leaving the LAT. His path led him to 3 California treatment centers: a 6-month outpatient program, a 28-day stay at a Pasadena psychiatric hospital and, finally, a 90-day county-funded residential rehab where he found the 12 Steps and cognitive behavioral therapy. Today he advocates for multiple pathways to care, self-determination and choices.
In 2023, he was recognized as an “Unsung Hero” by Agape Health and Wellness Center in its inaugural Beautiful Minds Awards in downtown Jacksonville.
Bryan lives in south Jacksonville with his rescue pup and cats. He is a Stage 3 colorectal cancer survivor and Mayo Clinic patient who makes each day his “best day possible.”

Lynne Prescott is Vice President of Human Resources for Landstar System, where she leads a team of HR professionals, driving initiatives that foster employee engagement, growth, and organizational success.
As a global Human Resources executive, Lynne's professional journey includes HR leadership roles at WR Grace & Co., Office Depot, Ryder System, PetSmart, Owens Illinois, Cancer Treatment Centers of America®, Olympus Insurance, and Great Expressions.
Lynne is committed to continuous learning and professional development, both for herself and for the teams she leads. She is a Certified Executive and Career Coach through the International Coach Federation, and holds a Certified Change Management Professional credential from Prosci.
Lynne lives in Green Cove Springs, Florida, where she enjoys life outside of work with her cherished 11-year-old Chihuahua-Dachshund mix, Jabula, -- whose name, meaning “rejoice” -- perfectly reflects the joy she brings to her daily life and work.
